On the right you can see my collection of CD from Ensiferum and Finntroll (a band for whom I’ll tell more later). The ticket in the bottom of the picture was signed by the whole Ensiferum band in 2011.
FR : Album allant du folk métal à l’épique métal, cet album est selon moi le meilleur du groupe. Cependant même s’il est le meilleur, tous les autres sont également très bons à l’exception de celui sorti en 2012 où là ils ont vraiment déconné sur certaines chansons.
Comme tout bon album de folk métal celui commence par une intro calme mais qui ne fait que masquer la terrible tempête qui s’annonce. Le métal ça s’exprime de deux façons : la musique à fond chez soi ou la musique à fond dans le concert à suer toutes les gouttes de son corps dans des pogos d’anthologie. Allez aux concerts si vous le pouvez chers amis, car les concerts de folk métal particulièrement sont très conviviaux et l’ambiance dans la fosse y est toujours excellente. Le folk métal c’est le métal rassembleur, le métal des bars et tavernes, la bière qui coûle à flot et c’est aussi des voix d’hommes et du growl (hurlement). Cet album a tout ça : de l’épique où vous vous croyez en plein champ de bataille médiéval, la sensation d’être dans une taverne et le sentiment qu’il ya de la bière qui vous entoure en permanence. Cet album est un des premiers albums qu’il m’ait été permis d’écouter quand j’ai découvert le folk métal. Je pense pouvoir dire sans trop de difficulté que j’ai dépassé la barre des 100 écoutes de cet album et je ne regrette aucune de ces écoutes.

EN : Album going from folk metal to epic metal, this album is according to me the best of the group. However even if it is the best, all the others are also very good with the exception of the one out in 2012 where they really messed around on certain songs.
As any good album of folk song metal that begins with a quiet intro but which is only masking the terrible storm which announces. The metal expresses of two manners: the music completely at home or the music completely in the concert to sweat all the gouts of his body in pogos of anthology. Go to concerts if you can dear friends, because concerts of folk metal particularly are very friendly and the atmosphere in the pit is always excellent. Folk metal it is the gatherer metal, the metal of bars and inns, beer that flows in stream and it is also voices of real men and the growl. This album has all this: some epic where you imagine yourself in full medieval battlefield, the sensation to be in an inn and the feeling that there’s beer which surrounds you permanently. This album is one of the first albums which it was allowed me to listen to when I discovered folk metal. I think I can say without too much difficulty that I exceeded the bar of 100 listenings of this album and I regret none of those.
