DJ Kran0 (c’est un zéro mais wordpress fait de la merde) est un jeune musicien de Toulouse, France et grand et vieil ami à moi. Pianiste, guitariste, graphiste, chef cuisinier amateur spécialiste dans la cuisson de pâtes, la réalisation de pizzas et burgers, il est touche-à-tout.
Il y a quelques années entre deux vidéos de Skrillex et Carlos, il découvre la makina sur Youtube. La makina est une musique techno espagnole connue particulièrement pour son BPM élevé comme on dit dans le milieu. Traduction : c’est des boum boum qui vont très vite. Mais c’est espagnol. De par son statut de Toulousain, il ne lui faut que quelques heures pour arriver en Espagne et durant l’été 2013, il en profitera pour passer quelques jours pour apprendre auprès des meilleurs. Cependant il ne veut pas juste apprendre la makina, il veut se l’approprier et la réinventer, devenir l’Alain Ducasse de la makina.
Il bénéficie de son côté français et dieu sait que la french touch ça marche bien en ce moment. Lassé par la surenchère et les concours de bites que se lancent les différents artistes du milieu, il vient mettre un terme à tout cela avec ses productions « 30 000% Makina ».
Petit rappel historique, tout a commencé il y a quelques années quand on vit apparaitre les premières compilations 100% makina, puis vinrent les 200%, 300%… Année après année, les chiffres grandirent pour atteindre un « 4 000% makina ». Comme lui apprirent les DJ espagnols durant son séjour : « si es necesario, digas a tu publico que haces la ultima makina ». En tout cas c’est ce qu’il a retenu (mais il n’est pas sûr pour la conjugaison du verbe decir). Pour les non-hispanophones, ou ceux qui avaient des professeurs d’espagnols peu compétents, il faut comprendre ceci « si c’est nécessaire, indique à ton public que tu as l’ultime makina ».
Jonglant entre parties rythmées et flows plus légers, avec l’apport de voix de temps à autres, indéniablement il réinvente le genre.
Suite au succès grandissant, il s’associe à d’autres DJ locaux envieux de son succès tels que Dj I.G.N. et Cordy parce que c’est un mec bien DJ Kran0 et il n’a que faire de la notoriété de ses collaborateurs.
Généreux également avec son public il laisse en libre streaming et download les tracks de son soundcloud.
PS : il m’a fait l’honneur de m’accepter dans un de ses tracks : « You’d better be in my fap folder » à 3.37. Ouais ma gueule.
N’hésitez pas à le booker pour l’été prochain pour enflammer le dancefloor. Il a déjà enjaillé des publics gersois, ariégeois et creusois.

Sorry international folks, I don’t translate this one because it’s a French album with a strong importance of the lyrics, but you can listen to it, there are instrumental only tracks and great musical backgrounds in all of the songs. It’s a psychedelic progressive rock jazz album.

Aujourd’hui ça va parler vintage, ça va parler patriotisme, ça va parler français.
Komintern – Le bal du rat mort est une bombe atomique lâchée en 1970 et les collectionneurs de vinyls le savent c’est aussi une putain de rareté. Je ne fais pas exception à la règle donc si jamais vous mettez la main sur ce vinyl, contactez-moi, il m’intéresse.
Cet album au titre WTF se divise en 5 éléments (ou plutôt deux pour les deux faces du vinyl). Dans un premier temps nous avons la face A qui est un mélange de psychédélique et de jazz/rock progressif. D’une durée de seize minutes il peut s’avérer quand même long et ennuyant au bout d’un moment. Mais indéniablement l’ensemble est vachement bien foutu.
Toute cette première partie est pûrement instrumentale et contient parfois des sonorités que je qualifierais quelque peu de patriotiques / villageoises. Cherchez pas j’ai toujours des adjectifs bizarres pour décrire mes pensées.
Par la suite on rentre dans le vif du sujet et le WTF le plus total avec les parties comprenant des paroles. Paroles et titres de chansons qui sont sans queue ni tête mais qui nous font bien marrer.
Au final on termine par un « fou, roi, pantin » qui est juste magistral et que nos camarades non francophones ne comprendront malheureusement pas. Toujours en restant dans un univers jazz/rock psyché/progressif
Très bon fond sonore durant une soirée ou en écoute intimiste, cet album est un incontournable de la musique française.
Nul doute que vous retiendrez ad vitam eternam ce passage :

Au menu du jour : Danger, artiste électro français qui a toujours des noms d’albums et de pistes musicales à la con. Bien que particulièrement mauvais en idées de noms de chansons il compense TRES largement avec ses productions.
Avant de juger sa production artistique, attardons-nous quelques secondes sur la pochette de l’album qui reflète ma foi particulièrement bien l’ambiance de l’album. Ce masque à l’allure post-apocalyptique et légèrement cassé avec ses yeux blancs vitreux nous fait dire que vous allez collapser comme des bâtards c’est moi qui vous le dis. J’interprète le feuillage autour comme un désir de sortir des ténèbres. Oui ici les ténèbres sont forestières.
Bon voilà maintenant que je vous ai décrit la pochette, attaquons le gros du morceau. Ouais d’ailleurs, Mr Danger, j’aurais aimé qu’il soit gros ce morceau putain de merde. 18 minutes ça fait chier, on n’a pas le temps de rentrer dans le truc qu’on en ressort déjà. Ouais ouais je sais c’est un EP blablabla, bah c’est con.
Comme me l’a fait si bien remarquer un ami, cet EP pourrait très largement être la bande originale d’un projet de science-fiction / post-apocalyptique. Et le post-apo c’est le bien. Dans la vie y a le houmous puis la bière puis le post apocalyptique.
Je pense que pour pleinement apprécier cet album, il y a des conditions particulières d’écoute qui sont requises :
– Un système son vraiment gros et qui envoie du lourd
– Etre sous influence de l’alcool ou de substances moins légales (attention c’est dangereux pour la santé)
– Etre dans le noir ou un lieu peu éclairé mais avec des stroboscopes et autres jeux de lumières.
– > En gros il faut être dans un club entouré de dizaines d’autres mélomanes.
Tout ceci s’explique par le fait que c’est une musique très deep, sombre, rythmée, émotionnellement prenante. Au cours de l’écoute on voit le monde s’écrouler autour de nous, c’est majestueux.
On today’s menu: danger, French electro artist who always has lame names of albums and tracks. Although particularly bad in naming songs he compensates VERY largely with his productions.

Well now that I described you the cover, let us attack the main part of the piece. 18 minutes, it’s short, we do not have time to go into it that we already go out again from it. Yeah yeah I know it is an EP blah blah blah, well it sucks.
As so well pointed out it to me a friend, this EP could very widely be the soundtrack of a project of science fiction / post-apocalyptic. And post-apo is good shit. In life there’s hummus then beer then post-apocalyptic.
I think that to appreciate completely this album, there are particular conditions of listening which are required:
– A really huge sound system
– To be under the influence of alcohol or less legal substances (attention it is dangerous)
– Be in the dark or a little lit place but with stroboscopes and other lighting effects.
– > Yeah that describes a club surrounded with tens of other music lovers.
All this is explained by the fact that it is a music very deep, dark, rhythmical, emotionally fascinating. During the listening we see the world collapsing around us, it is majestic.
[FR]Il y a quelques jours j’étais en séjour à Paris pour diverses raisons et logé chez un ami. Ce dernier faisait la couverture médiatique de Futur en Seine, un événement qui m’était complètement inconnu et compte tenu de mon emploi du temps chargé je n’y ai guère prêté une grande attention. Cependant, je me suis retrouvé là-bas de manière inattendue. Une fois atterri dans une conférence, je regrettais amèrement de ne pas être venu plus tôt et de devoir repartir pas longtemps après. C’était fort intéressant donc. Mais outre les conférences, le site de la Gaité Lyrique accueillait plusieurs pôles de start-ups. Naviguant en terre inconnue, je jette un oeil à droite, à gauche et tombe sur le stand de Blitzr. J’y rencontre son fondateur : Bertrand Sebenne (en tout cas c’est ce que dit la carte de visite qu’il m’a tendu).
J’invite donc ce monsieur à me parler du produit qu’il présente sur le salon.
En gros, Blitzr est une alternative magnifique à Deezer ou Spotify au fonctionnement extrêmement simpliste. Le site est parti d’un constat simple : il y a toutes les musiques ou presque du monde sur Youtube mais l’outil de recherche de celui-ci est quand même bien à chier. Autre constat : Deezer casse les couilles avec ses pubs et Spotify nécessite de payer. Que fait alors Blitzr pour nous faire adorer son service ?
Blitzr c’est la centralisation de tous ces sites (à vérifier, erreurs possibles) : Discogs, Rate Your Music, Wikipedia, Soundcloud, Bandcamp (Ces deux derniers ne sont pas encore actifs il me semble) et probablement d’autres que j’oublie mais peu importe. Ce qui importe est ce qui ressort de tout cela.
Blitzr vous propose de rechercher l’artiste ou l’album de votre choix. Une fois l’album sélectionné et lancé, il va en fait chercher les musiques sur Youtube dans leur master le plus proche de l’original : donc pas de cover, pas de live, que du CD-RIP en gros. Que cherche l’internaute quand il décide d’écouter un album sur Youtube ? Ecouter de la musique. Du coup la partie vidéo il s’en fiche complètement, voilà pourquoi sur l’interface proposée, la vidéo est ridiculeusement petite mais on s’en fout parce que la musique tourne et c’est tout ce qui compte.
Quand vous allez rechercher un album sur le site, le site va utiliser l’outil de Discogs pour afficher la liste des tracks et leur durée. Quand vous allez rechercher un artiste il va vous proposer des tags de genre et des bios issues à la fois de Discogs et Wikipedia et plein de features cools que je vous laisse découvrir.
Un outil des événements à venir de l’artiste sélectionné est également disponible.
Autre fonction disponible sur Blitzr : lorsque vous cherchez un album, il vous affiche des liens de boutiques Amazon, Ebay (Discogs ?) pour vous permettre d’acheter ce qui vous plait.
Vous pouvez enregistrer les playlists de votre choix, pas mal pratique ça aussi.
L’application au quotidien dans tout ça elle est où ? L’exemple le plus frappant et que j’ai vécu de nombreuses fois c’est le suivant :
Vous êtes invité chez un ami / une soirée… un ordinateur est à disposition et vous êtes libre de lancer la musique de votre choix via l’internet. Seulement que se passe-t-il en général ?
1. On va sur Deezer mais on n’a pas de compte du coup ça sert à rien.
2. On va sur Spotify mais on n’a pas de compte du coup ça sert à rien.
3. On va sur Youtube mais faut changer de musique à CHAQUE FOIS et il n’y a pas la possiblité d’écouter proprement un album. Ceci n’est évidemment pas valable si vous écoutez MES playlists qui vous proposent les lectures de tous les albums que j’ai uploadés comme il faut. #3615MaPub #SubscribeToMyChannel
Bref, on passe son temps à faire des aller et retours vers la machine sans pouvoir discuter ou draguer (draguer en moins de 3 minutes c’est pas facile, merde) si on veut pouvoir lancer tout un album.
Alors qu’avec Blitzr, vous allez sur le site sans aucune inscription nécessaire, sans aucune publicité présente, sans aucun paiement attendu et vous lancez votre album en 30 secondes. Ce qui vous laisse le temps de la playlist pour conclure. En plus y a un autoreplay (mais ça je reviendrai sur les quelques caractéristiques négatives au site mais qui sont davantage des améliorations conseillées que des vrais points négatifs).
Une question qu’on m’a posée quand j’ai parlé de ce site est « est-ce que les pubs Youtube sont présentes ? » Bonne question, comme j’ai AdBlock je sais pas. Mais faut tester et puis j’espère / je pense que Blitzr viendra apporter les réponses et corrections nécessaires à mon article dans les commentaires ci-dessous.
Bon je pense que j’ai fait le tour de ce que j’avais à dire, reste maintenant à parler des points à améliorer et du business model.
Pour se financer, le site compte sur deux choses : en partenariat avec Amazon, Ebay… il va toucher un pourcentage des ventes effectuées depuis les liens des achats d’albums. Prévu par la suite, un onglet billetterie où là aussi une part sera récupérée par le site.
Autre source de financement, bien connue du monde de l’internet : la collecte de données. Evidemment, me direz-vous. Collectant nos données de navigation, d’écoute etc etc (j’en sais pas trop sur ce point là), le site pourra proposer une API pour revendre tout cela.

Concernant mes suggestions d’améliorations : à l’image de Bandcamp que je déteste pour UNE CHOSE : l’absence de bouton de réglage de volume.
L’autoreplay non désactivable. J’aime pas les trucs qui tournent en automatique sur l’internet.
Par contre il est plaisant de pouvoir continuer de naviguer sans avoir la musique qui se coupe.
J’ai probablement ommis des éléments mais le mieux cela reste que vous testiez l’outil et que vous vous y familiarisez et surtout faites tourner le message.

Cher Blitzr, comme tu l’auras lu dans le titre de l’article et comme discuté durant Futur en Seine, en mars 2015, alors que j’aurai fini ma 3 ème année de communication dont la 3ème en spécialité RP et événementiel, si jamais ça te chauffe je postule pour le poste de stagiaire RP. [EN] A few days ago, I was in Paris for various reasons and stayed at a friend’s. Hedid some of the media coverage of Futur en Seine, an event that was completely unknown to me and considering my busy schedule I did not pay much attention to it. However, I found myself there unexpectedly. Once landed in a lecture I regretted not having come earlier and having to leave not long after. It was very interesting. But besides conferences, the site of the Gaité Lyrique hosted several poles of start-ups. Sailing into the unknown, I take a look to the right, left and falls to the stand of Blitzr. I met its founder Bertrand Sebenne (at least that’s what the card he handed me says).
I invite this gentleman to tell me about the product he has on the show.
Basically, Blitzr is a wonderful alternative to Spotify or Deezer to extremely simplistic operation. The website has gone from a simple observation: there’s almost all the music of the world on Youtube but the search tool is shit. Another observation: Deezer fucks us with its ads and Spotify requires to pay. So what does Blitzr to make us love such a service?
Blitzr is the centralization of all these sites (to check, possible errors): Discogs, Rate Your Music, Wikipedia, Soundcloud, Bandcamp (The latter two are still active I think) and probably others that I forget but whatever. What matters is what comes out of it all.
Blitzr offers search for the artist or album of your choice. Once the album is selected and started, it will actually get the music on Youtube closer to the original: so no cover, no live. What seeks the user when he decides to listen to music on Youtube? Listening to music. That’s why in the proposed interface, the video is ridiculously small, but who cares because the music turns and that’s all that matters.
When you search for an album on the site, the site will use the Discogs tool to make appear the list of tracks and their duration. When you search for an artist it will provide you with tags, genres and bios from both Discogs and Wikipedia and lots of cool features that I let you discover.
A tool for upcoming events for the selected artist is also available.
Also available on Blitzr: when looking for an album, it shows you links to Amazon, Ebay (Discogs?) Shops for you to buy what you like.
You can save playlists, quite practical too.
The daily application in all of this is where? The most striking and I have experienced many times is the following example:
You are invited at a friend’s / to a party… a computer is available and you are free to start the music of your choice via the internet. Only what’s happening in general?
1. Deezer but we don’t have any account so it’s useless.
2. Spotify : same problem
3. We go on Youtube but we have to change music EVERY TIME and there is not the possibility to listen to a proper album. This is obviously not valid if you listen to MY playlists who offer readings of all the albums I’ve uploaded it right. #SubscribeToMyChannel
In short, we spend our time doing go and back to the machine without being able to chat or flirt (flirting in less than 3 minutes is not easy) if we want to run an entire album.
Whereas with Blitzr you go to the website without any registration necessary, without any advertisement and without any expected payment and you launch your album in 30 seconds. This leaves you time to enter the playlist. In addition there is an autoreplay (but that I shall return to the few negative characteristics of the website but more improvements are recommended as true negatives).
A question I was asked when I spoke of this site is « Are the Youtube ads present? » Good question, as I have AdBlock I do not know. But test it and I hope / think I Blitzr will provide answers and corrections to my article in the comments below.
Well I think I’ve been around what I had to say, it remains to talk about areas for improvement and the business model.
To finance, the website relies on two things: partnership with Amazon, Ebay … it will receive a percentage of sales from links of album purchases. Coming soon a ticket tab where there also will be a part taken by the site.
Another source of funding, well known in the world of internet: data collect. Obviously, you might say. Collecting our data navigation, listening etc etc (I don’t know a lot about this), the website will provide an API to sell it.

About my suggestions for improvement: Such as Bandcamp that I hate for ONE THING: no volume button.
The autoreplay can’t be deactivated. I do not like stuff that automatically turns on on the internet.
On the other hand he(it) is pleasant to be able to continue to navigate without having the music which cuts itself.
I ommis probably elements but best it stay that you test the tool and that you get acquainted and especially share the message.
When I speak about search for artists or for albums, the tool also proposes the search by labels and by songs.
Dear Blitzr, as you will have read it in the title of the article and as discussed during Futur en Seine, in March, 2015, while I shall have finished my 3rd year of communication of which the 3rd in speciality PR and event management. I apply for the intern’s post as PR. Furthermore as I am from Toulouse and you’re from Bordeaux it is rather very cool (even if your buildings have no pink bricks).
[FR] Leur facebook indique qu’ils sont dans un genre metalcore/deathcore, ouais c’est pas faux, il n’empêche que ça reste quand même relativement doux. Ouais relativement, parce que pour certains c’est bourrin. Bon eux je pense qu’ils n’ont jamais dû se lever à 6h00 du matin et utiliser un petit Psyopus ou The Dillinger Escape Plan, qui sont les deux groupes qui me viennent en tête pour comparer à Meredith Hunter, pour se lever. Je vous assure que ça vous réveille bien sa maman. Le metalcore marche aussi vachement bien pour palier à la montée de nerfs quand on vous annonce un retard de train.
Comme tous ces groupes de décérébrés (je blague ein) que M6 adore tant, on comprend que dalle aux paroles et on essaie même de nous faire croire que y en a. Bon comme je suis un mec sympa et tout wesh toi même tu sais, je vous provide les lyrics à la fin de la chronique. Ils sont aussi dans le genre chocolatinecore un genre pas trop connu dans le monde mais plutôt bien développé à Toulouse. Prends ça dans ta che-tron Paris. :p
Passons désormais à l’aspect humain avant d’entrer pleinement (et d’en ressortir assez vite) à l’aspect musical.
J’ai rencontré MH grâce à Emmanuel un des deux chanteurs du groupe avec qui j’ai suivi la même formation en études supérieures. Je ne connais pas ses compagnons d’aventures mais [SPOILER ALERT] à la fin de l’EP ils tuent le dragon et sauvent la princesse et retournent boire des bières.
Leur musique est donc tout ce qu’il y a de plus classique dans le metalcore, violente à souhait et on a qu’une envie : lancer des pogos d’enculés et autres wall of death démoniaques pour évacuer toute l’énergie accumulée à l’écoute de cet EP.
Parlons-en justement de ce format, l’EP, il est bien trop court (CTB) et la fin arrive trop tôt alors on espère vite voir un album complet pointer le boût de son nez. En attendant on apprécie énormément le fait que ce soit très propre comme enregistrement et ça c’est cool cool cool.
Ci-dessous, les paroles rapportées d’Emmanuel pour en apprendre un peu plus sur MH (et parce que j’ai la flemme de retranscrire ses propos dans un style indirect) :
« Projet en gestation depuis 2012, enregistré en 2013, et sorti en 2014. Yoann et moi au chant, Guillaume et Samy aux grattes, Théo à la basse et Hélios à la batterie. On vient de milieux assez différents : le batteur est à fond de jazz, moi je suis assez blackmetal et musiques electroniques, mais de tout en fait, et je jouais avant dans un groupe d’emocore « My Last Heroin[e] » le bassiste Théo joue aussi dans le groupe Baron Samedi, qui est beaucoup plus rock et chanté en français, et les 3 autres avaient un groupe de Thrash avant, « raise your gun ».

On se prend la main, on s’entraide, et on avance, car sous nos pieds tout s’effondre. On aimerait sortir un format physique mais pour l’instant trop peu de sous. Pour le merch, il nous faut déjà un graphisme cool, ce qu’on est en train d’étudier. On vient juste de sortir un truc donc rien d’autre avant qu’on ait commencé les concerts. On va pas tarder à commencer à chercher d’ailleurs ! »

[EN] Their Facebook indicates that they are in a metalcore / deathcore genre, yeah it is not false, nevertheless that remains relatively soft. Yeah relatively, because for some it is brutal. Well I think that for those guys they never had to get up at 6:00 am and use some Psyopus or The Dillinger Escape Plan, who are both groups which come to my mind to compare with Meredith Hunter, to get up. I assure you that this wakes you well. The metalcore works tremendously well for landing on the way up of nerves when we announce you a delay of train.
As all these groups of decerebrated (I joke huh) that M6 (a French TV channel) adores so much, we understand nothing atthe lyrics and they even try to persuade us that there are some. As I am a nice guy and, I proempty you lyrics at the end of the text. They are also in the chocolatinecore genre, a genre not too much known in the world but rather developed well in Toulouse. Take that in your face Paris. :p
Let’s focus on the human aspect before entering completely (and to to go out rom it rather fast) the musical aspect.
I met MH thanks to Emmanuel one of the two singers of the group with whom I did the same training course in higher education. I do not know his companions of adventures but [SPOILER ALERT] at the end of the EP they kill the dragon, save the princess and go back drinking beers.
Their music is very classic in the metalcore, violent as wished and we have a desire: launch some pogos and other demonic wall of death to evacuate all the energy accumulated listening this EP.
Let’s speak about this format, the EP, it is very too short (like your dicks) and the end arrives too early so we hope to see a complete album soon. While waiting for it we appreciate enormously the fact that it is a very clean recording and that, it is cool cool cool.
Emmanuel tells us more about his project:
« Project in gestation since 2012, recorded in 2013, and brought out in 2014. Yoann and I at the singing, Guillaume and Samy at the guitars, Théo at the bass and Hélios to the drums. We come from rather different origins: the drummer is fond of jazz, I am more into blackmetal and electronic musics, and everything, and I played before in a group of emocore « My Last Heroin[e] » the bass player Théo also plays in the group Baron Samedi, which is much more rock and sung in French, and the 3 others had a group of Thrash before, « raise your gun ».
Our lyrics are rather black, state a world in decay, a rather post-apocalyptic vision of the world, nietzschéenne. We hold our hands, we help each other, and we move forward, because under our feet everything collapses. We would like to bring a physical format but at the moment we have very few money. For the merch, we need a cool graphist, what we are studying. But nothing else before we begin concerts. We are going to start looking for venues. » [And there was the best part but slightly too indecent for your fragile eyes there, sorry girls.]
